Ilhan Omar, and other critics of the Trump administration’s energy policies have introduced the “End Polluter Welfare Act” to cut over $190 billion in federal subsidies for the fossil fuel industry over the next decade and prevent the Trump administration from opening public lands to new drilling and mining efforts.
