InnerSpace names 6 program projects

The Medium, a 25,000-square-foot venue in downtown Springdale, recently selected six projects for InnerSpace 2026, a program that offers free space and support for experimental, creative and community-focused projects.

Each project will take place at The Medium’s Blackbox for a day and present new work, workshops, performances, exhibitions, gatherings and collaborations. The InnerSpace program received 53 applications from across Northwest Arkansas.

Following are the program awardees, projects and dates.
• Caylie Garnett, The Joy of Dance, March 25
• Russell Patterson, Acts of Translation, April 29
• Braxton Carney, Art House at The Medium, May 27
• Courtney King, Multimedia Exhibition, June 24
• Jessica Sudduth, Buzzed Bards, July 29
• Cory Perry, Performance on Erosion and Transformation, Aug. 26.

“We’re constantly listening to what artists in Northwest Arkansas need and working to remove the barriers that make it hard to try something new,” said Amber Perrodin, artist and community manager at The Medium. “InnerSpace gives local artists the freedom to experiment, gather, and share their work without worrying about the cost of space. These six projects are a celebration of the talent, courage, and creative momentum that lives here, and a reminder of what’s possible when artists are supported.”

InnerSpace is open to anyone 18 or older living in Benton and Washington counties and encourages proposals from all experience levels. The Tyson Family Foundation supports the program.
