Former Watergate prosecutor questions DOJ, Maxwell meeting: ‘Extremely unusual’

Former federal prosecutor Nick Akerman called the U.S. government’s decision to interview Ghislaine Maxwell “extremely unusual” and suggested that the move was an attempt to secure a pardon for Maxwell in exchange for her saying that Donald Trump was not involved in the Epstein sex trafficking case.
