‘It’s going to be a gut punch’: Families of Flight 5342 brace for days-long NTSB investigative hearing

Wednesday, the National Transportation Safety Board will begin a three-day investigative hearing on the Jan. 29 mid-air collision between an American Airlines regional jet and an Army helicopter that killed 67 people. “I think it’s going to be a gut punch,” said Rachel Feres, whose family member was killed on Flight 5342 along with his wife and two daughters.
